Vicky's viewpoint (Club Captain's report)
ALOHA!!
First up - is it ever going to stop raining!!!!! The planned roadie to Millwater was put on hold due to the bad weather - fortunately Haydn went and represented!! Not going up north did mean we could be there on Sunday where a small crew went out to tackle the haks and the river trail (some even did both) but the best thing was the chocolate brownie muffin at Breaking Bread! #Recommend
A HUGE well done to Phill on his awesome stair climbing at the weekend and raising lots of money. We enjoyed watching the live feed at the cafe - looked pretty hard work for most but at least Phill had the hakarimatas to train on so I am sure it made the tower seem easy - aye? You can still donate to the cause via Phills fundraiser page https://firefighterschallenge.org.nz/phill-moore
We had a great session with Anna on Thursday - stretching muscles that don't often get much attention. I know my glutes could feel it straight away! We are collating feedback so have your say so we can start making it a regular thing - Link here https://forms.gle/N8dp6gLnzCiGeSwX7
This week it's dinner night - Can you believe it's been a month already!?! Don't forget to bring your Hawaiian shirt and you still have time to have your say on the way we run dinner nights just click on the link: https://forms.gle/4fvThifLG6PwVsh3A
See you on Thursday!
