THURSDAY: This week it's a speed session around the lake with 4 minute sprints and 2 minute recovery walk or jog (so those doing Hobbiton can do a lighter session).

There will also be the usual walks and longer runs.

Meet at 5:30 inside the club.

Don't forget your high viz clothing and/or lights.

THIS SATURDAY:

A bunch of us will be heading to Hobbiton for 11km or 21km around the shire! Vicky will attempt to get a group photo before the off (and maybe in the pub afterwards).

We will also be heading to parkrun - no long weekend and an event may mean the majority of us can be found at Hamilton Lake or the University.

SUNDAY

A post Hobbiton recovery run/walk to the Blue Springs - Te Waihou River Walk. Meet at the Leslie Road carpark at 9am. Leslie Road, Putāruru 3483, New Zealand. Bring your camera as it really is stunning! A relatively easy out and back course (4.7km each way) on a mixed trail - bring appropriate footwear. Cafe at Tirau on the way home.

RUGBY

Volunteers are needed for the Chiefs Rugby games on:

  • Saturday 7th May from approximately 5pm until 9pm

  • Saturday 21st May from approximately 2.30pm to 6pm.

Let Sarah Jenkins know if you can assist for either of these two events. These events are busy but fun and a great chance to get to know your club mates, as well as help generate funds for the club!

CLUB WEBSITE We now have a calendar of events so keep an eye out for future activities.
