Vicky’s Voice

Hello possum’s!

Great work to all of you who made the most of a trip to Taupo and came out relatively unscathed after the possum!!

Was great to welcome back the Club Champs! Was certainly exciting to watch - results out on Thursday so be there to find out who claimed the 1km trophy!

We’ve been in touch with Anna and strength training returns on 20th July and 24th August so add to your diary!

Sunday is going from Hayes Common cafe because I’ve been wanting to go here for AGES and never got there! Hopefully as good as I’ve heard.

Hot gossip on the parkrun front is Papamoa’s Gordon Spratt Reserve parkrun starts on 8th July so watch out for a roadie over there in a few weeks time! You can check out the course on the parkrun website.

On Thursday I’ll be running for 45 minutes if anyone wants to join.

See you next Sunday!

Our Volunteers are awesome. Thanks to everyone who helped out at the semi final on Saturday. The Chiefs were inspired by the way we put in the full 80 so they are having a final this weekend. We got a full complement of volunteers this weekend, so thanks again for the quick responses. We're expecting a game of two halves, we'll be doing the hard yards, I expect the first 20 will be crucial.......and I've run out of rugby cliches.
