Happy New Year and welcome back everybody. It will be great to see the 2020 vision of HRR and what will unfold over the upcoming year. With this I advise all HRR members who would like to stand for the 2020 /2021 HRR committee and be part of the action that the nomination forms are out and urge youall to stand. Please be part of a very dynamic team.
A club that never sleeps – I have been impressed over the Christmas break that so many HHRs wanted to catch up and be active. By this I mean we only shut for one Thursday for the year as everybody wanted to catch up over the break. There were those who did events over the break, the great Sunday run/walk events, especially the Waihi / Karangahake Gorge day out which had huge numbers thanks to convenors Gary and Annette. Also were those doing away park runs and those on training runs like Tarawera. All in all looks like we have a great fitness culture in the club, or is it for the coffee catch ups?

Glenview Run - Yes our own summer series run – Remember to be in for the major prize draw you need to have entered in the event – Please hurry and sign in as this event is fast coming our way.
Help Required – Sunday 23 February – There is a list in the HRR club house for helpers for – Office help / Marshalls / Water Station – If you can help but can’t get to the club house and can help. Contact President Gary or Club Captain Neil and we will add you to the team.
Kirikiriroa Marathon / Relay – If you would like to do the marathon or be part of a three person team to run or walk an 12.6 km / 18 km / 11.5 km leg – note this comes with medal. We have a list you can put your name down on in the HRR club house. Date Saturday 7th March
Help Required – Kirikiriroa Marathon – Ann St Water Station = Yes by popular demand our party central water station is required – Saturday 7th March – Convenor – Kevin Hooker. If you are available for an hour or more and can help. Please contact Kevin Hooker / President Gary / Club Captain Neil Crocker and we will note your name on the list.
