September Runner of the Month

A huge congratulations this month goes to a very competent and motivated Gary Fieldes, for his excellent effort in completing the 24 Hour challenge at the Blue Lake in Rotorua with a final tally of over 100Km in the 24 hour period.

There will be the usual tests taken of course, DNA in particular, to make sure that he is in fact a human being and not a machine. Well done Gary it does seem like an enormous task and it probably was, although you seem to have your training schedule nailed down, with your "long runs" being the odd park run here and there.

Amazing what you have been able to achieve and a man who says he is not competitive?? The squealing pig awaits... for the non initiated that is a very tasty pinot noir!
