We are sorry to announce that Eric Manuel, one of our members who has a long history with the club, passed away a couple of days ago. A very respectable marathon runner in his day, in recent times Eric has been a regular on Thursday nights, going for a walk before everyone arrived then being security guard at the clubrooms while everyone was out running and walking. A friendly and cheerful guy who will be sadly missed.

A private cremation is being held on Wednesday and there will be a funeral service this Thursday August 17th at 3pm at the White Rose Chapel on Cook Street, if anyone would like to attend.
