Vicky's Voice

Well done to Stu on his 250th parkrun on Saturday. Hopefully Everyone at the uni has got rid of the green dye from his cake!!

It's a busy weekend of events coming up with a few of our members in Melbourne and Taupo. Good luck to Helen on her first marathon and to Denyse and Steve go get your marathon PBs that you have trained so hard for.

A reminder that our October dinner night will be the famous Andrew sausage sizzle at the club house after the pink run and walk which takes place around the lake on 26th October. I hear Rod is happy we have Daniel so we can hopefully retain the trophy!

We are also getting ready for our end of year celebrations - date to be announced shortly but we are asking you for your nominees for the Club Spirit Award. Who do you think has shown the most club spirit over the last year? We will have forms at the club on Thursday. (Please note committee numbers aren't eligible to be voted for).

On Thursday I have a 10km route from Strava which is running to the gardens and back via the cook run on the river path, Claudelands and rail trail for anyone who is keen. Will post in the strava group.

See you there!

Vicky
